Schmitten Chocolate Cafe

I had a very clear vision about how people wanted to the shop to be like – something that stimulates all the senses, more particularly, the sense of taste, smell and sights, and leaves the customers with a memorable experience.

THE GLASS FAÇADE PROVIDES GOOD DISPLAY SPACE. THE LOCATION GIVES A GOOD APPROACH TO STORE, STORE IS VISIBLE FROM THE SIDE AS WELL, SO THE PEOPLE WHO WILL ENTER THE COMPLEX CAN SEE THE DISPLAY AT RIGHT SIDE. THE SHOP IS ON THE MAIN FAÇADE OF THE COMPLEX, SO IT IS EASILY VISIBLE FROM THE MAIN ROAD.

- Terrazzo is best seen in larger commercial spaces like hotels, food courts, holiday resorts and the like. This can be replicated as many times as needed without sacrificing symmetry and uniformity.

The design concept for the Smitten Chocolate Showroom with Cafe is based on the idea of combining two functional spaces - a chocolate showroom and a cafe - within a single, integrated design. The goal is to create a cohesive and visually appealing space that maximizes the potential for interaction and engagement between the two spaces.

The chocolate display section was perhaps the easiest to design since the amount of chocolates already took care of this section’s attractiveness. We made sure to incorporate different displays such as wall shelves, chocolate pods, gifting section, to make chocolate shopping more interactive and fun.

The chocolate showroom will be designed to showcase a variety of chocolate products, including artisanal chocolates, truffles, and other confections. The showroom will be located on the ground floor, and will feature a chocolate fountain inside the front facade, which will be visible from the street. The fountain is intended to attract visitors to the showroom, and to provide a visually engaging centrepiece for the space.

The cafe will be located on the upper floor, and will be designed to offer a comfortable and informal setting for work and relaxation. The space will feature a variety of seating options, including lounge chairs, bar stools, and communal tables. The cafe will also offer a view of the street outside, providing visitors with a sense of connection to the surrounding area.
