Solving any problem is the mission of an architect. Problem solving skills are directly related to experience in architecture. The more experience you have, the better you can solve problem. Being able to solve problems and having practical intelligence is necessary for to be a good designer. The important thing is to develop the ability to solve problem with the least damage and time possible.
